DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nJoin us for a bewitching event on the water as we paddle dressed in our finest witchy attire for a magical afternoon of enchantment and community on the Spokane River! Bring your own boat, either a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard, and float with us from the SIERR Building. We will float approximately 1 mile upstream and back in our spooky attire.\nWhile we float, we will share spooky toxics stories about the local ecosystem, river history, and our work on the river. Come learn more about the toxic history of the river and the work being done to improve it!\nDate & Time: October 3rd, 2026 beginning launching at 1:00pm\nCost: Free! If you do not have one of your own, we recommend booking a rental with FLOW Adventures ( https://www.flow-adventures.com/rentals-1 )!\nIn the event of a thunderstorm, cold temperatures, or otherwise unsafe floating conditions, the event may be cancelled.\nFacility information: There are no restrooms available at this launch. Participants should come prepared for no bathroom access for the duration of the event. This put in is a primitive put in, and does require some agility to walk over roots and other obstacles.
